Application Instructions
The final result of the touchup depends upon the application procedure of Com-Paint Touchup Spray Paint. The result may vary due to many factors such as atmospheric conditions, type of surface etc.
We are enlisting below a specific procedure for applying Com-Paint Touchup Spray Paint that would give best results if properly followed.
DIRECTIONS TO USE
Check Color: Before using compare the color of the substrate with the color marked on the Com-Paint Can.
Prepare Surface: Clean the surface thoroughly using a soft cloth to remove dirt, dust, grease etc from the surface.
Wet sand the surface using 1000 or 1500 no. or more Water proof emery paper for a proper, uniform and smooth finish and dry the surface using a soft cloth.
Spraying Instructions:
1. Shake the can vigorously until the agitator ball moves freely.
2. Hold the Can straight in upright position and spray a few puffs in air so that the paint starts flowing.
3. Spray from a distance approx. 10” - 12” from the surface to avoid dripping of paint
4. Apply light coats till the you get the the desired level of matching. Wait for 2 minutes between coat.
5. In case the paint shade appears to get darker, simply remove the paint sprayed using Com-Merge (available in VALUE PACK) and retouch it up.
6. Immediately after painting, apply Com-Merge on the Overyspray to merge it and dissolves it.
7. Finally after 3 days, apply some good quality rubbing compound followed by polishing the surface with a wax polish.
8. Clean the spray button after use. If spray button clots, rinse it in thinner and replace
